I paint everyday scenes on canvas, based on photos I take of moments that are special or simply ordinary. I use acrylic, ink, charcoal, oil pastel and pigments, though not every painting has all of them. The canvas edges stay raw and the works are unframed, though they could be framed.
I have always drawn, though not very much, and I was always drawn to painting on canvas. A friend inspired me to start painting intensively in 2024.
I'm self-taught. What shapes my work are my friends, the exhibitions I visit and the art scene in Leipzig.
Most of my paintings begin with a single photo. Sometimes I combine several photos or add graphic elements to the canvas.
My first exhibition ran from 25 June to 25 September 2026 at Bar Gleis45, Eisenbahnstr. 45, Leipzig. I'm now planning new projects.
I sell originals only. If a painting is already sold, I can paint it again on request.
